Nick Haag has always done first-rate work for me.
I’ve hired him to do several jobs over the past fifteen years including patching ceilings and removing the popcorn, remodeling bathrooms, building a deck with a pergola, removing a wall and remodeling my kitchen and family room and installing hardwood floors.
All are still looking as wonderful as the day they were completed. I go to Nick because I trust him and can count on beautiful results.
I have been doing business with Nick Haag, owner of Accell Construction, for over fourteen years.
He has finished the basement, installed wood flooring throughout the entire main floor, tiled the laundry room and bathrooms, replaced and upgraded the house windows, repaired extensive water damage, and several other smaller projects.
His price has always been competitive, consistent (by consistent I mean he doesn’t tack on hidden costs), and fair. The work is always completed on a timely basis, if not early. He works during regular business hours with as minimal disruption as possible. The work is the highest quality.
Nick Haag has always exceeded all expectations. The best contractor I have worked with by far.
Having moved to Colorado from California six years ago, one of my first tasks was to find a contractor to remodel my basement. Finding a contractor during the summer time here is somewhat of a problem because that is their busy time. Accell Construction was referred to me by friends here in Aurora.
Being from California, I knew that you needed a permit for everything. That was not the nature of business here in Colorado. Most of the contractors I had look at the job said a permit was not needed. I knew better. When I had Accell Construction look at the job, they said no problem, they could handle the whole matter. Not only did they handle the permits but also the Interior Architecture.
Accell started the construction of my basement that winter, which I had a lot of reservations about construction during the winter. Accell put that matter to rest from the start, by covering everything that could be damaged. That was our first sign that things would be done right. Nick Haag worked on our basement for 6 months with professional and expert integrity. He started when we asked him to and worked with us both the entire period until completion.
We were so pleased with his work that we asked him to build our patio, stairwell, and two story garage. Nick and his crew worked for me almost an entire year on all my projects. They were a pleasure to deal with and Nick’s work ethic is above standards. He builds things like they were his own. If it wasn’t done correctly, he made it right. That says a lot about a contractor in this day and age. I have had many compliments on the work they performed.
He always cleaned up everyday after completion of work, and was very considerate of my neighbors. Accell Construction is one of the few contractors that is on the level. They are not the cheapest, but they are definitely one of the best… When all the work was done, we could not have been happier!
He turned out not only to be a very good contractor, but a dear friend…
Over ten years ago, we hired Nick Haag to build a deck for us. Our old one was shabby and splintering and small. Nick designed a beautiful deck that was not only aesthetically better than the old one, but larger and made out of Trex as well.
It was such a work of art that improved the look of our house that our neighbors all decided it was time to remodel their houses, because they saw Nick’s work was quality, and that Nick was trustworthy.
Nick was in demand on our street for a long time as he remodeled our friends’ living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms. We had more home improvement projects for him over the years until he pretty much had transformed our entire house and remodeled it so beautifully that it actually became the “perfect” house we’d worked so hard for.
He could do it all -- new kitchen, bathrooms, living room and basement, as well as new floors for our upstairs bedrooms. We always think of him when we need home improvement.
